Taylorsville Tartars Football State Championship Uniforms
Taylorsville 2020 Football Uniforms: Taylorsville had brand new green and white jerseys in 2019, featuring a classic design similar to the ones worn from 1995 to 2002 and 2012 to 2018. The new jerseys feature the "hTs" logo on the collar, a large "Taylorsville" wordmark on the chest, and outlines on the numbers.
Additionally, the Tartars had two new jersey designs via a new reversible Riddell jersey. One side is a gold jersey with green numbers outlined in white. This marks the Tartars' first gold jerseys since 2015. The other side is a black jersey with gold numbers outlined in green. This is the first black jersey in program history! Both sides of the jersey feature "Taylorsville" on the front chest and "Tartars" on the back nameplate.
Finally, the gray Adidas jerseys that have been worn since 2017, including in the 2017 State Championship victory, were still worn in 2019. That brought the Tartars' 2019 total to 5 jersey designs, which is a program record; Taylorsville had never had worn than 3 football jerseys in a single season prior to 2019.
In 2020, Taylorsville doubled-down on the All-Black persona by adding the first black helmet in school history. The new helmets feature a glossy finish, a green “hTs” logo outlined in gold on both sides, a gold-green-gold stripe down the middle, and a black facemask.
2020 was Mitch Evans's third season as Head Coach of the Tartars, while Senior Ty Keyes capped his fourth season as starting QB by winning his third 2A State Championship.
